With the workaround below, you can connect to the wifi for as long as you desire.
The method is simply to spoof your MAC address.A MAC address is a 12 character unique identifier assigned to a specific piece of hardware such as the network
adapter of your wifi device. As scary as it sounds, in simple words , a MAC address can be used to uniquely identify your android phone on the internet or the local
network. This clearly shows that when you get disconnected from the wifi, its your MAC address that would have been blocked.
The simple workaround here is to change your MAC address after the timeout.
Lets start with something simple like checking your current MAC address.
On your android phone go to SETTINGS>>ABOUT PHONE>>STATUS there you will see your current Wifi-MAC address.
To get started, you need a rooted device. You can read this post i did on how to and why root your android phone.
If you have a rooted device already, you are almost done. Download ChameleMAC app from playstore or search it on google
>>Open the app, it will ask for root permission, just grant it.
>>Generate a random Mac and if its good enough for you click apply
>>Confirm..and we are done here. Go to settings to check if the MAC have changed for real.
Reconnect to your wifi and enjoy..repeat the above steps after timeout until you are “full”
The above step was the easiest. However, ther is another way. You still need a rooted device and again to root your device check the link above.
>>Download BusyBox app from playstore. Download Terminal app from playstore.
>>open terminal app and type su and press enter.
typebusybox iplink show wlan0 and press enter again. This will show your current MAC adress.[ IF you get an ERROR, place "iplink" separately like "ip link"]
type busybox ifconfig wlan0 ether XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX: Where XX:XX etc is your new desired MAC address(replace XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX with your desired MAC address.)
To avoid getting errors, always keep it in Mind that the you should use ONLY letters from A-F and any number. Lets say the your wifi MAC address starts with 67:c5 you can change it to 57:b2 until the end.
You are mantaining the format but changing the combination.
Just one more thing..on some devices, if you get the "applet not found error" you can try "eth0" instead of "wlan 0" in the commands above.
If you continue having errors, comment on this post on FACEBOOK and i will help you there.
