2 Days ago, two banks had declared limits on Nostro account usage. What is the latest News regarding Nostro accounts in Zimbabwe

Two banks (Banc ABC and FBC Bank) had limited Nostro account usage (Customers were no longer allowed to withdraw USD Cash OR move Nostro funds to VISA/Mastercard for international use) saying they ‘don’t have enough USD to back ‘ your Nostro accounts. This caused mass panic although they later issued ambiguous statements claiming the news false. RBZ later issued a statement too saying they have enough cash to back Nostro accounts.

8nzsmAs of today, you still can’t move funds from your Nostro account to Visa if you banking with FBC Bank – they claiming “system is under maintenance” ) duh
