Victoria Falls is a town in western Zimbabwe and a gateway to the massive waterfall “Victoria Falls.”Here, the Zambezi river flows over a cliff and into the boiling pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devils’ pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is 1905 Victoria Falls bridge. The surrounding Zambezi national park is Home to white Rhinos and Elephants.It is also important to mention that 75% of the falls are viewable from the Zimbabwean side and 25% from the Zambian side.

A taxi costs about 5-10 USD depending on the distance your lodging is. If you are staying at Kingdom, Victoria falls Hotel or N1 its a 5 minute walk. Some hotels offer shuttle buses which you can use. On arrival, the entrance is on the left side. You will need to produce your identification details…passport or id card(For Zimbabweans/SADC countries.)Current Victoria falls fees is USD 30 for international visitors, USD 20 SADC visitors and USD 7 for Zimbabweans. Evening viewing during the lunar tour all visitors USD 40. * Children under 6 are free of charge. * These fees are for single entry and your day entry does not cover your night entry.

Do's and Dont's

    1. Victoria Falls is essentially a safe place as long as you use your good judgment and don’t break the rules.
    2. There are wild animals..while there aren’t any common predators, you may come across  bush bucks , warthogs or cheeky monkeys.(Hide your food and don’t feed them!)
    3. Stay on designated paths at all times.
    4. Make sure you have protective kits for your cameras and stuff because you will get wet while walking through the rain forest.
    5. At Danger point, there are no barriers.
    6. You are not allowed to take sample of natural habitat.Take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints.
    7. Use of drones is prohibited.
