Six cash-in-transit suspects have been shot and killed in two separate incidents in KwaZulu-Natal.
Four suspects were killed in a shootout with police in Camperdown near Pietermaritzburg.
The other two were killed in Klaarwater.
Three guns were recovered at the scene in Pietermaritzburg.
The Hawks traced the suspects to a block of flats.
They were joined by the anti-gang, K9 and TRT units.
Police were also supported by Metro Police and private security companies.
KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is at the scene.
