The Western Cape government is now checking on other buildings after the George building collapse.
It’s worried about the integrity of structures built by the developers of the George apartment block.
The structural integrity of buildings surrounding the site will also have to be reassessed.
The big questions now, are what caused the tragedy, and who will be held accountable?
A total of 34 people have died, and several others remain in hospital.
