In a detailed seven-part series, Rumbie narrated how she met her husband, Ernest, at her workplace, a bank. Initially, Enerst requested her phone number under the guise of needing to check on system updates for his transactions.

After three years of sporadic communication on Facebook, Rumbie broke up with her boyfriend and decided to give Ernest a chance beyond their financial interactions.
