Mzansi Erupts as Zimbabwean Broadcaster Peter Ndoro Votes in SA Elections
South Africans were furious after finding out that Zimbabwe-born broadcaster Peter Ndoro voted in Wednesday’s elections.

Urging South Africans to Vote
Like every South African, Peter Ndoro went to his polling station to cast his vote. After voting, Ndoro took to his verified X account to share his experience. He posted two photos: one showing him patiently waiting in a queue and another displaying his marked thumb after casting his vote.
In his caption, Ndoro encouraged fellow South Africans to exercise their democratic right and vote for their preferred party. He wrote,

MJzansi Erupts as Peter Ndoro Votes in SA Elections
However, Ndoro’s update sparked a backlash from a section of South Africans who questioned how he was allowed to vote, given his Zimbabwean origin. Some users argued that foreigners should not have the right to participate in the country’s elections. Others correctly pointed out that Ndoro has South African citizenship and is therefore eligible to vote. Here are some of the reactions:
