Prophet Madungwe Appeals For Help As His Landlady Chases Him For Rent

Controversial pastor Prophet Talent Madungwe has appealed for help after news broke out that he cannot pay his rent.

H-Metro revealed that Madungwe has been evasive and has not paid rent for four months. The viral “man of God” has been struggling so much that putting food on the table has been a stretch.

His landlady, Gogo Manyonga, was deeply irked and revealed that she had been lenient with him because he was a celebrity. She is slowly losing her patience. Gogo Manyonga gave Madungwe an eviction notice, and she was startled when Madungwe almost fled without paying what he owed.

Madungwe’s explanation of his situation was borderline comical:

“Things have not been well for me since September last year. Ukaona wakushaya mari yekubhadhara rent ziva kuti nevana varikutofa nenzara. I am being attacked by the Devil because of preaching the Word, and a number of enemies are after my downfall, but I will not give up.”

Prophet Madungwe Appeals For Help As Rent Gives Him Sleepless Nights

After going viral today, Madungwe set the record straight again on his predicament.

He said even Jesus and Father Abraham went through temptations that tested their faith.

“Now you hear people saying God is judging Prophet Madungwe. The inability to pay rent does not mean God is judging me; it’s a phase. Before this happened, we already knew because there was a meeting in Heaven. Then God said Holy Land Israel and Holy prophet Madungwe shall go through a bad phase. It’s a phase, and it was authorised in Heaven.”

Madingwe admitted that he is dead broke and appealed to his followers to donate rent money to him. He then pleaded with President Mnangagwa, Wicknell Chivayo, Tinashe Mutarisi and Scott Sakupwanya to help him with money, a house or a car.
