Seven suspects, including former SARS employees, have been arrested for allegedly defrauding the revenue service of over R650-million.
They’re facing fraud and money laundering charges.
They will also be charged with contravening the Tax Administration Act.
The suspects were arrested in Gauteng, Limpopo, Free State, and the Eastern Cape.
They had been on the wanted list for some time.
Police say the arrest of two outstanding suspects is imminent.
