Pictures of opposition politician Nelson Chamisa with ZANU PF spokesperson Chris Mutsvangwa have caused a stir online.
Chamisa and Mutsvangwa were among the guests at the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, held at the British Embassy in Harare. The British monarch is turning 75 this year.
Annually, all British embassies and High Commissions worldwide hold parties for the King at their respective offices.
Nelson Chamisa Hangs With Chris Mutsvangwa
The British Embassy in Harare hosted its own party yesterday and invited several esteemed guests. Among the attendees were former Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) President Nelson Chamisa and ZANU PF spokesperson Chris Mutsvangwa.
As the guests mingled, wined and dined, Chamisa walked to Mutsvangwa and shook his hand before hugging him. They then started chit-chatting, and Chamisa even mentioned the Chivayo saga.

After the brief encounter, Chamisa and Mutsvangwa posed for pictures as they smiled.
Other guests at King Charles III’s birthday party were Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and former CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere. Mafume now belongs to an opposition camp that remained after Chamisa quit the party’s presidency.
Chamisa had discussions with Mafume at the glam event, who later linked up with Fadzayi.
