Senior Party Officials Speak On Why The ZANU PF Politburo Ignored The Wicknell Chivayo Drama
After the noise regarding the controversial businessman, most assumed Chivayo with be on top of the agenda at ZANU PF’s Politburo meeting last week.
It has since emerged that the issue was never discussed although it had been raised by the Youth League.
Newshawks spoke to one ZANU PF official who revealed the reason why the Politburo never raised the Chivayo saga.
“The Youth League raised it before the meeting, but it was never raised in the politburo. Not even a reference to it. Who can raise it? Most top officials are compromised. Even if they are unhappy with Chivayo’s behaviour they are not willing talk to about, forthrightly.”
