Thami Ntuli to be sworn in as KZN premier


KwaZulu-Natal gets a new government on Tuesday.

Premier-elect Thami Ntuli will take his oath of office during his inauguration in Pietermaritzburg.

The ceremony is being held at the Woodburn Rugby Stadium in Scottsville.

The IFP leader was elected under a Government of Provincial Unity deal between the IFP, ANC, DA and NFP.

He narrowly defeated Inkosi Phathisizwe Chiliza of the MK Party by 41 votes to 39.

Ntuli is expected to announce Members of his Executive Committee shortly after the ceremony.
