An IEC official is set to appear on fraud charges at at the Palm Ridge Commercial Crimes Court.
Details are limited but authorities say the charges are unrelated to the 29 May polls.
It comes as the electoral body faces criticism by some parties that the election results have been manipulated.
Earlier this year, an official was fired for leaking candidate lists.
