Flamboyant ZANU PF Politician Phillip Chiyangwa Remarries In A Secret Wedding

Flamboyant businessman and ZANU PF politician Phillip Chiyangwa has remarried in a private wedding that has just gotten public.

The Businessman’s Marriage Profile

Phillip Chiyangwa has had a colourful personal life, particularly when it comes to his marriages.

Chiyangwa married Elizabeth Jama in 1986. Their marriage was later legally formalized in 1988. Together, they had two daughters: Ellen Vanessa (born in 1986) and Mitchelle Martha (born in 1989). Unfortunately, after a couple of years together, their marriage ended in divorce.

In 1993, Chiyangwa entered into a marriage with Saniso Katerere. The couple stayed together for decades, only separating in 2020 in a messy divorce. Saniso filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She told the High Court that the marriage was now stained by physical, emotional and verbal abuse so much that they no longer lived and planned together.

Saniso demanded sole ownership of the family’s “Brayston House, Mercedes Benz GL63, Mercedes Benz E Class, rights and interest in Old Citrus Farm, Chinhoyi, Phantom Vehicle, Transformer Bus, Bentley, Mercedes Benz SL55 and 50% shareholding in Chiyangwa’s 17 companies”, alleging that Chiyangwa funded the business from wealth acquired from her parents.
