The ZRP has confirmed that four lives were lost while several people were injured in an accident that happened along the Harare-Mutare road today.
The devastating road traffic incident took place on the Harare-Mutare highway in Zimre Park, leading to the unfortunate loss of four lives. The tragic event involved a commuter omnibus that was en route to Rusape when it suffered a tyre blowout and subsequently lost control.

Pictures of the devastating crash circulated all over social media before an official report was made. Lifeless bodies can be seen on the road beside the wreckage that the vehicle had turned into.
Confirmed Casualties and Injuries Of The Accident
The ZRP reported that four individuals perished at the scene of the crash, while ten others sustained injuries. The vehicle involved was a Toyota Hiace Kombi, which was transporting 18 passengers when it veered off the road, overturned, and eventually landed on its wheels.

Medical Response
The injured victims have been taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for medical treatment. Names of the victims who lost their lives will also be shared by the police as soon as their families are notified.
