Western Cape working on plans to improve water resources


The Western Cape government is looking at expanding the Voëlvlei Dam in Gaouda, to ensure water security in the province.

Western Cape dams are currently filled.

But, that’s not going to last forever. Working with the National Department of Water and Sanitation, the plan is to build additional water infrastructure in the province.
