Taxi Driver Found Dead in Harare CBD

In a disturbing development, a taxi driver was found dead at corner Nelson Mandela and Simon Muzenda Street in Harare.

The body of the yet to be identified man was discovered in a pool of blood this Tuesday morning in Harare’s Central Business District.

He had a wound on his leg.

Details about what happened or what caused his death are still sketchy at the time of reporting.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police responded promptly to the scene and have since launched an investigation. Pictures and video of them at the scene investigating and removing the dead body from the scene have since emerged on social media.

The police are appealing to anyone with relevant information about the death of the taxi driver to contact the nearest police station.
