“In terms of the foodstuff, a lot of expired products in all the other shops were also taken in. Some products had a myriad of non-compliance issues, including improper pricing or no pricing at all,” said Viljoen.
She emphasized the dangers of poor hygiene practices and cross-contamination, particularly with pre-packaged foods.
