Parirenyatwa Hospital has appealed to the public for help to identify a patient who lost his memory after a road accident.
Zimbabwe’s biggest referral hospital made the appeal on its social media accounts.
Parirenyatwa Hospital Appeals For Help Identify Patient Who Lost His Memory After An Accident
The man was involved in a road traffic accident recently, and he sustained injuries. Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officers swiftly attended to the scene.
They assisted the accident victims and ferried the injured passengers to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals. However, one of the patients had no identification documents with him. When he woke up, they realised that he had suffered from amnesia following the accident he survived.
The hospital said in a statement:
“Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals would like to inform the public about an unknown person found at the hospital. The patient was brought in by Police Officers after being involved in a car accident. The patient is suffering from memory loss and has no identification particulars with him.
“Accordingly, we are appealing to the general public to raise awareness on the status of the said patient in order to help in his identification. For further information, please contact the Public Relations office hotline numbers: +263 712 131 882 or +263 712 131 883.“
