Mnangagwa Rewards Own Bootlickers

ZANU-PF affiliates and supporters were rewarded at the party headquarters on Saturday during the 4th edition of the Legacy Empowerment Awards. The event recognized individuals and organizations closely aligned with the ruling party for their contributions to Zimbabwe’s development and legacy.
Among the recipients was Madzibaba Moses Gwasarira, who was honored with the Joshua Nkomo Patriotic Legacy Award.
Apphia Nyasha Musawengana also received the Women Empowerment Champion Award for her efforts in advancing women’s rights and empowerment in the country.
Themed “Inspiring Generations, Recognizing the Enduring Power of Legacy,” the awards ceremony celebrated the enduring influence of those who support the government’s vision for national development.
In his keynote address, delivered on behalf of Vice President and Second Secretary of the Party, KCD Mohadi, Harare Provincial Minister for Devolution C Tavengwa spoke of the importance of the awards. He said, “The Legacy Awards represent recognition of individuals and entities that are making a positive impact in the development of the country.”
The event, held at ZANU-PF’s headquarters, also served as a platform to further promote the party’s message and strengthen its ties with its supporters.
The awards highlighted the party’s emphasis on legacy and empowerment, both central to its agenda as it prepares for future political challenges.
