The Rhubela family at Kubha village in Bizana in the Eastern Cape is reeling in shock following the death of its six family members.
According to police, a 27-year-old mother was found dead with her three children and two family children in their home. The cause of death is unknown, but police say they don’t suspect any foul play.
A family member Mthembeni Makhoba, says they learned about the news this morning as the incident happened in another household.
“We don’t know what happened, because when we got there the mother and her children were already dead. We don’t know the cause. We decided to call the police but we couldn’t reach them, we then decided to go to the police station. They came but we also had to wait for forensic.”
