Dynamos coach Saul Chaminuka defiant despite ongoing poor run

Dynamos coach Saul Chaminuka remains defiant despite mounting relegation pressure.

The Glamour Boys slumped to another low after a 1-0 defeat to TelOne in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Matchday 20 clash at Bata Stadium on Saturday.

The result left them languishing in the relegation zone in 17th place with just 15 points.

Speaking after the match, Chaminuka expressed confidence in his team’s ability to recover and avoid relegation.

“We have 14 games left—that’s 42 points to fight for. We will not go down. Yes, we’re in a rough patch, but there are 10 teams around us. Two consecutive wins could change everything,” he said.

Commenting on his team’s performance, Chaminuka lamented their missed opportunities: “It’s painful. We controlled the game but came away with nothing. I thought it was only a matter of time before we scored, but we made poor decisions in the final third. We had better chances; they had one and took it.”
