Tawanda Maswanhise scored his eighth goal of the season after netting a consolation in Motherwell’s 2-1 defeat to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership.
Maswanhise opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, but the visitors came from behind with two second-half goals to claim the win.
The strike took Maswanhise’s tally to eight goals across all competitions — four in the league and four in the League Cup.
Meanwhile, in South Africa, Knox Mutizwa was on target again, scoring his 66th career goal in the South African Premier Soccer League. He found the back of the net for Richards Bay in their 2-1 defeat to Orbit College on Sunday night.
Mutizwa, who recently joined Richards Bay from Golden Arrows, has now scored three goals in his first two matches for his new club.
