Another Senegalese football player, Alassane Diallo, has reportedly gone missing in Ghana after falling victim to a fake football trial scam.
This comes just days after the death of another 18-year-old footballer Cheikh Toure under similar circumstances.
Indications are that, Diallo, disappeared on October 18, 2025, shortly after travelling to Ghana for what he believed was a genuine opportunity to join a local football club.
According to his family, Diallo was asked to pay £850 to secure his place in the team, but upon arrival, the organisers demanded an additional £1,200.
His relatives sent the money, but he stopped responding to phone calls soon after. His whereabouts remain unknown.
