Scottland FC crowned 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions, breaking 40-year record

Scottland FC have been crowned the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions after defeating Kwekwe United 5–1 on Matchday 32.

The Mabviravira clinched the title in their debut top-flight season, becoming only the second team to achieve the feat since Independence, following Black Rhinos’ triumph in 1985.

The Tonderai Ndiraya-coached side, who made several key signings in June, reached an unassailable 65 points after opening a seven-point lead with just two matches remaining.

Scottland’s emphatic victory was inspired by goals from Tymon Machope’s brace, Khama Billiat, Ronald Pfumbidzai, and Tadiwa Chakuchichi.

Meanwhile, this marks a second successive league title for coach Ndiraya, who also lifted the trophy last season with Simba Bhora.
