Warriors captain Marvelous Nakamba is set to take promising players from the Njube Spurs Academy to Europe for trials, following the academy’s triumph in the ZIFA Bulawayo Province Boys Under-17 League.
The selected players, who include Thabile Zulu and Michael Tembo, impressed throughout the season and will now have the opportunity to showcase their talent on the European stage.
Nakamba, who has sponsored the Njube Spurs Academy since 2017, remains committed to nurturing young talent and helping aspiring footballers realise their dreams.
The Luton Town star has been a consistent supporter of grassroots football. In 2022, he hosted a national junior tournament that discovered Prosper Padera, who now plays for Finnish top-flight side SJK Seinäjoki and made his debut for the Zimbabwe senior national team in September.
