How Warriors fans feel about ZIFA’s appointment of Marian Maric head coach

The appointment of Romanian Marian ‘Mario’ Marinica as the new head coach of the Warriors has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with many questioning the Zimbabwe Football Association’s (ZIFA) decision.

The former Malawi gaffer boast of over 25-years of coaching experience and has previously helped Liberia shoot up the FIFA rankings in 2024 and guided Malawi to their best-ever AFCON finish in 2022.

His appointment is with immediate effect, this according to he ZIFA statement and he is mandated includes preparations for the Algeria and Qatar friendly games and to lead the Warriors at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Final slated for December in Morocco.

Sunday Chidzambwa is the only local coach who can coach the Zimbabwe National Soccer Team. He is the one holding the keys to unlock the team.
