Zimbabwe beat Qatar 2-1 in a friendly match on Monday to end a year-long winless run across all competitions.
The game was played at Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Zimbabwe’s goals came from Munashe Garan’anga and Bill Antonio in either half, while Qatar’s consolation was scored by Mohamed Khaled Gouda in the 9th minute.
The result marks coach Marian Marinica’s first win as Warriors coach, just over a week after his appointment.
