Dynamos, Highlanders survive relegation as all relegated teams are confirmed

Dynamos and Highlanders survived relegation on the final matchday of the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

The two Zimbabwean giants went into Sunday’s fixtures in danger but managed to secure their top-flight status after avoiding defeat.

Dynamos finished the campaign in 13th place with 39 points following a goalless draw against FC Platinum. The result, combined with favourable outcomes in other matches, lifted the Glamour Boys to safety.

At Barbourfields Stadium, Highlanders drew 1-1 with Chicken Inn. Bosso came from behind to earn the point, with Andrew Mbeba’s second-half free-kick cancelling out Brian Muza’s early opener for the Gamecocks.

The draw placed Highlanders in 11th, while Chicken Inn also survived as they ended the season in 12th place.

Elsewhere, Yadah, Greenfuel, Kwekwe United and Bikita Minerals were all relegated from the top flight after dropping points on the final day.

Kwekwe United’s relegation had already been confirmed last month, while Greenfuel, Yadah and Bikita Minerals needed positive results to survive.

Greenfuel drew 1-1 with Triangle United, who climbed above them to secure safety. Yadah lost 1-0 to Simba Bhora, while Bikita Minerals fell 1-0 to Manica Diamonds.

Results:
Dynamos 0-0 FC Platinum
Chicken Inn 1-1 Highlanders
Kwekwe United 0-2 CAPS United
Simba Bhora 1-0 Yadah
Greenfuel 1-1 Triangle United
Manica Diamonds 1-0 Bikita Minerals
