Warriors striker Prince Dube’s 59th-minute strike was enough to secure a win for his club Yanga SC in the CAF Champions League Group B campaign.
Yanga defeated Moroccan giants AS FAR 1–0 in a match played at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar.
Dube’s goal marked his first of the season in all competitions and also became the crucial and breakthrough goa in what had been a tightly balanced contest.
Yanga will play JS Kabylie from Algeria on November 28. They are sitting second in Group B with Al Ahly topping the log table on goal difference.
