Content creator and public figure Sabelo Hadebe, widely known online as Sabelo The Kreator, has broken his silence after a series of sexual assault allegations surfaced on social media.
The claims began circulating after an X user operating under the name PIERRE-O accused him of being an abuser, a post that quickly triggered a wave of similar allegations from anonymous accounts.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Hadebe said he was first alerted to the posts by friends and family, insisting he has no connection to the individuals making the claims.
“I would like to make it known that the person behind the account PIERRE-O and other anonymous people with subsequent posts are completely unknown to me,” he said.
He added, “I do not know PIERRE-O, and I have never had any interaction with them at any university or elsewhere.”
Hadebe rejected all accusations outright, noting that the alleged incidents date back ten years and stressing that he has never had any relationship, confrontation, or encounter with the people linking him to these claims.
He also reiterated his long-standing position against gender-based violence, saying he has publicly spoken out against such abuse for years.
“I further deny that I raped, or alternatively attempted to rape, PIERRE-O or any person for that matter. My stance against the plight that is sexual violence has always been clear; I believe victims, and I stand with victims,” he stated.
The content creator said his denial does not mean he takes the issue lightly; instead, he maintains that due legal processes are essential in determining the truth.
He urged anyone who genuinely believes they were harmed by him to report the matter formally.
“I humbly ask and encourage any person who believes that they are victims of my actions to kindly approach the South African Police Service and open befitting charges against me,” he added.
Hadebe further expressed his willingness to work with authorities, including surrendering himself should an official complaint be filed.
He dismissed suggestions that his statement was a PR move, saying he is protecting his reputation from what he described as “unfounded allegations.”
While acknowledging the growing public distrust in institutional systems, he maintained that formal channels remain the only credible way to handle accusations of this nature.
“While I vehemently deny these allegations, I ask that they at least be tested in established forums,” he said.
