
Three players have been released from the Warriors squad due to injuries.
The trio consists of Tymon Machope, Xolani Ndlovu, and Andrew Mbeba.
This was revealed by ZIFA in a statement that read:
The Zimbabwe Warriors’ Technical Department confirms that three players have been officially released from camp following medical assessments that ruled them out due to injury:
1. Tymon Machope
2. Xolani Ndlovu
3. Andrew Mbeba
Their release is a precautionary measure to protect their long-term fitness. We thank them for their professionalism and wish them a swift recovery.
Meanwhile, the locally-based group in the Warriors squad started reporting for camp on Sunday.
The final 23-man squad is expected to be announced next week, ten days before the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on 21 December.
