Marshall Munetsi and Jordan Zemura have been omitted from the final Warriors squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The final selection was confirmed on Thursday afternoon.
The duo picked up injuries in the past week, with Munetsi suffering a calf injury during Wolverhampton’s match against Nottingham Forest last Wednesday, while Zemura sustained a thigh issue in Udinese’s 2-1 loss against Genoa on Monday.
Also omitted from the squad is Walter Musona, who was certified unfit at the start of the camp.
The tournament will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
The Warriors will open their campaign against Egypt’s Pharaohs on 22 December at the Grand Stade d’Agadir in the coastal city of Agadir, with kick-off set for 7 PM CAT.
They will then face Angola on Boxing Day (26 December) at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, before concluding their group stage matches against neighbours South Africa on 29 December, also in Marrakech.
