Dynamos hit with heavy fine by PSL

Dynamos have been hit with a heavy fine by the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

The sanction comes after the Glamour Boys caused a twenty-minute delay to their Chibuku Super Cup final against Triangle United.

The delay occurred after Dynamos refused to play with Triangle United’s match balls. Normalcy was restored only after the Premier Soccer League intervened to resolve the dispute.

Dynamos technical team members Kelvin Kaindu, Thomas Ruzive, Takesure Chinyama and Thulani Muzambwa have all been sanctioned in connection with the incident.

The statement by the League reads:

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has released the judgement in the matter involving Dynamos FC and its technical officials, Kelvin Kaindu, Thomas Ruzive, Takesure Chinyama and Thulani Muzambwa.

The Club and its technical officials were charged with disorderly conduct that resulted in a delay to the kick-off of their Chibuku Super Cup fixture against Triangle United FC played on 29 November 2025 at Gibbo Stadium.

The club pleaded guilty to the charge. After considering the submissions, the Disciplinary Committee fined Dynamos FC a sum of $4500. In addition, the technical officials were each fined $300.
