Kaindu reveals Hard Rock FC’s ambition ahead of 2026 PSL season


Newly appointed Hard Rock FC coach Kelvin Kaindu has said the club’s ambition is to turn its home ground into a formidable venue for visiting teams as they prepare for top-flight football.

Kaindu said the club’s infrastructure gives them a strong foundation to compete and establish dominance at home.

“Looking at the infrastructure we have, we want to make this stadium a fortress, a place where opponents truly feel our presence whenever we play at home,” said Kaindu.

Kaindu has been handed a long-term mandate, signing a contract that will keep him at Hard Rock FC until the end of the 2027 season.

His appointment comes at the backdrop of the team’s promotion into the  Castle Lager Premier Soccer League aftwr finishing tops of the Central Region Soccer League this year.

Hard Rock has made aome off-field investment, by the construction of the new Chahwanda Stadium in Kwekwe.

Hard Rock FC will be making their debut in the elite league next year, and Kaindu believes a strong home record will be key to survival and long-term success.
