Marshall Munetsi has been linked with a return to the French Ligue 1, almost a year after moving to England from Stade de Reims.
According to a report by French outlet L’Équipe, several unnamed Ligue 1 clubs are interested in the midfielder, whose contract with Wolves runs until 2028.
Wolves are reportedly open to releasing the 29-year-old during the upcoming January transfer window.
Munetsi initially established himself as a regular in the English Premier League side’s starting XI under former coach Vitor Pereira.
However, following the appointment of Rob Edwards in November, the midfielder’s role has become limited, a situation that is reportedly pushing him towards a January exit.
