Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers Hardrock FC are reportedly targeting a move for Bafana Bafana defender Kwanda Mngonyama.
According to South African publication Soccer Laduma, the ambitious Kwekwe-based side has expressed interest in signing the defender and has been making enquiries about his availability.
The 32-year-old recently completed a move to the Middle East, but Hardrock are reported to have reached out to his camp to explore the possibility of a transfer.
An unnamed source told the publication: “Hardrock have a big budget and they are keen on reinforcing their squad with quality players. Mngonyama has been identified as one of the players who would fit into their plans, but it will not be easy because he has just secured a move abroad.”
Mngonyama has previously played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu in South Africa.
