The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will kickoff today at 10 pm with hosts Morocco playing Cameroon in a Group A opener.
The match will be played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. Kick is at 9 pm CAT.
Zimbabwe will start their campaign on Monday when they face Egypt in a Group B opener. The match will be played at the 45,000-seater Grand Stade d’Agadir, located in the coastal city of Agadir near the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
AFCON Groups
Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros.
Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe.
Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania.
Group D: Senegal, DRC, Benin, Botswana.
Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan.
Group F: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique.
The top two teams in each pool as well as the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16 at the AFCON 2025.

22 December 2025 – Zimbabwe vs Egypt (Grand Stade d’Agadir)
26 December 2025 – Zimbabwe vs Angola (Grand Stade de Marrakech)
