The Warriors camp has been affected by illness ahead of their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group B game against Bafana Bafana on Monday evening.
According to national team coach Marian Marinica, there is a flu bug among some players, but he said it is not a major concern.
“There is something I didn’t say before because it’s sensitive information, there’s flu in our camp,” Marinica told ZIFA media.
“My assistant, Ronald Moroka, who is a South African, has been affected and will not be able to take part in the game on Monday. Even myself have been affected too and that’s a bit of a worry, but we will soldier on.”
Meanwhile, Teenage Hadebe is a doubt after picking up an injury on Friday, while Munashe Garan’anga has not yet been cleared to play on Monday evening after sustaining a dead leg last week.
The match will be played at Marrakech Stadium at 6 pm CAT.
