The eight quarter-finalists at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have now been confirmed following the conclusion of the Round of 16.
Hosts Morocco are among the last eight teams, while no side from the COSAFA region managed to reach the quarter-finals after both Mozambique and South Africa were knocked out of the tournament in the Round of 16.
Egypt, Mali, Senegal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Algeria and Nigeria are the confirmed quarter-finalists so far, with the final two teams to be decided on Tuesday in the remaining Round of 16 ties.
The quarter-final matches will be played from 9–10 January 2026, with the semi-finals scheduled for 13 January.
The tournament concludes with the final in Rabat on 18 January, when the champions will be crowned.

Cameroon vs Morocco – Friday, 9 January
Egypt vs Côte d’Ivoire – Saturday, 10 January
