Zimbabwean prospect Tanatswa Nyakuhwa is reportedly set to join a new club on loan from Cardiff City.
Nyakuhwa is expected to move in search of more meaningful game time in the second half of the season, having featured eight times for the Bluebirds so far this term.
According to BBC Sport, the 20-year-old is set to sign for League Two side Newport County.
The winger has long been highly regarded within the Cardiff academy and attracted significant interest last summer, with Kilmarnock, Anderlecht and two unnamed EFL clubs all monitoring him.
Meanwhile, another Zimbabwean prospect, Dakarai Mafico, joined National League side Yeovil Town from Cardiff City last week and made an instant impression by being named Man of the Match on his debut.
Mafico featured in the FA Trophy win over Alvechurch, scoring a penalty in the shootout after an impressive all-round display to help Yeovil progress to round five.
