Scottish Premiership side, Celtic has increased its interest in forward Tawanda Maswanhise.
Maswanhise has become a possible transfer target for Scottish powerhouse Celtic following the club’s manager Martin O’Neill presence during Motherwell’s weekend game.
O’Neill was present at Fir Park over the weekend to witness Maswanhise play as Motherwell defeated Ross County 1-0 in a Scottish Cup match, with the 23-year-old scoring the game-winning goal.
This is Maswanhise’s third goal in three matches he has played so far since returning from Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco where he featured for the Warriors.
Speaking to Daily Mail, O’Neill confirmed that the visit was intentional, strengthening rumors that the Glasgow team is getting ready to make a bid for the forward from Zimbabwe.
” That was a football mission,” he said.
