Warriors forward Junior Zindoga was named Player of the Match after delivering two assists in his team’s 2–0 win over Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership encounter played on Tuesday night.
The TC Galaxy midfielder played a key role in the win, setting up both goals as his side made a strong start to 2026.
Speaking to TC Galaxy media soon after the match, he attributed the result to collective effort and encouragement from his teammates.
“It was a team effort. The guys were finding themselves in really good positions, and they kept encouraging me to keep going. Once I got rhythm, they just felt like I could give us a goal or an assist. It just happened that I got two assists and we won.”
ZinHe was part of the Zimbabwe Warriors squad that participated at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco and has since made his senior national team debut against South Africa.
The win secured three points for Zindoga’s side in the Betway Premiership, while Marumo Gallants were left to regroup after falling to a former player who proved decisive on the night.
