Zimbabwe senior national women’s football team (Mighty Warriors) coach Sithethelelwe ‘Kwinji 15’ Sibanda has named a provisional squad for the COSAFA Women’s Championship set to begin on February 18 in South Africa.

With the call-ups coming at a time when local women’s football clubs are in the off-season, Sibanda opted to largely retain players from the Zimbabwe Women’s Premier Soccer League, banking on continuity and recent form shown during the previous campaign in Malawi in December.
