AmaZulu forward Thando Ngwenya was named Man of the Match in their 3–2 win against TS Galaxy in the South African Betway Premiership.

Ngwenya was involved in all of AmaZulu’s goals, scoring a brace and assisting the other goal.

The Warriors international came on as a second-half substitute in the 67th minute and scored his first effort ten minutes later. He then assisted AmaZulu’s second goal before grabbing a stoppage-time winner.

Usuthu’s new signing, Mason Mushore, was not part of the matchday squad.

Junior Zindoga, who also picked up a Man of the Match award on Wednesday, featured for TS Galaxy and was also on target in the match.

In Scotland, Tawanda Maswanhise scored his 16th goal of the season across all competitions after finding the net in a 4–0 win against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.

The goal was his 11th in the league, maintaining his lead on the scoring chart.

Brendan Galloway was also on target, scoring in Plymouth Argyle’s 1–0 win against Luton Town.

Fellow countryman Marvelous Nakamba was not part of the Luton Town squad that lost the match.

Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday utility player Sean Fusire did not feature over the weekend due to injury, while Andy Rinomhota was also not part of the Reading FC matchday squad over the weekend.

In Belgium, Bill Antonio came on as a second-half substitute for KV Mechelen and received a yellow card in their match against Westerlo.

France-based Marshall Munetsi again made a cameo appearance for his new side, Paris FC, in the goalless draw against Angers.

Munetsi joined the club this month on a six-month loan from Wolves and has so far made two appearances.
