Brendan Galloway is now facing an uncertain future at Plymouth Argyle after entering the final four months of his deal, with no talks over a contract renewal yet to be confirmed.
The Warriors international’s current deal is set to expire on 31 June after signing a two-year contract extension in June 2024.
Galloway first joined the club in 2021 on a free transfer. He remained with the side following their relegation from the Championship to League One last season.
However, injuries have limited his impact, and the defender has been unable to play anything close to a full season for the club since signing.
The 29-year-old is currently on the sidelines after picking up his latest injury a week ago. The setback came at a time when the defender was enjoying explosive form after returning from international duty at AFCON.
Meanwhile, should Galloway leave the club, he may not be short of attracting interest from clubs in both League One and the Championship.
