Zimbabwe international Tawanda Maswanhise has restored his lead on the Scottish Premiership scoring chart after netting in Motherwell FC’s 5-0 triumph against St Mirren FC.
Maswanhise had gone two weeks without finding the net, allowing Celtic FC forward Benjamin Nygren to draw level on thirteen league goals.
The Warriors star moved a goal clear at the top after converting a penalty in the 30th minute to double Motherwell’s advantage.
The strike took his tally to nineteen goals across all club competitions this season.
Meanwhile, Motherwell remain fourth on the Scottish Premiership table, now on 50 points following the emphatic victory.
