Black Rhinos seal sponsorship deal with Betterbrands, club receives brand new luxury bus and cars





Black Rhinos have signed a major sponsorship agreement with Betterbrands ahead of the new season.

Chauya Chipembere, who are set to compete in the Northern Region Division One League, unveiled the partnership on Wednesday evening in a colourful ceremony held at JMT Barracks in Harare.

The sponsorship package is worth US$500,000 and represents a significant boost for the army side as they prepare for the 2026 NRSL campaign.

As part of the deal, the club received a luxury team bus, a Toyota Fortuner for the chairman, a Toyota Aqua for the head coach and another Toyota Aqua for administrative purposes.

Revealing details of the agreement, the club said: “It was a night to remember for Chauya Chipembere as the club got a huge boost ahead of the 2026 NRSL season with Betterbrands unveiling a sponsorship package worth about half a million US dollars at a colourful ceremony held at JMT Barracks.

“The club also received a luxury bus, a Toyota Fortuner vehicle for the chairman, a Toyota Aqua for the head coach and another Toyota Aqua for administration purposes.”

In addition to the vehicles, the club also unveiled their new kit for the season, which includes the home and away strips, a tracksuit and training gear, as well as introducing the squad that will compete in Division One.
