Harare Times published multiple images showing Madhuku and several party members receiving treatment at a local clinic following the confrontation. The photographs depict severe bruising and whip-like injuries across Madhuku’s back and torso.

Party Confirms Assault
NCA spokesperson Madock Chivasa confirmed the incident to media outlets:
“We were holding a meeting this morning when police rounded up and attacked our members, including our leader Professor Madhuku. He has been injured.”

According to Chivasa, several party members were also injured and are currently receiving medical attention.
