Willard Katsande breaks silence after being appointed head coach at Zimbabwean club

Willard Katsande has broken his silence after being appointed the head coach of Zimbabwean club Rangers FC.

Rangers FC, formerly known as Chinhoyi Rangers, play in the Northern Region Division One League and are based in Chinhoyi.

Posting on X, Katsande said: “Grateful to the opportunity being Head Coach. Glory to God, the journey starts now.”

The move marks Katsande’s first coaching job since acquiring his CAF coaching badge in mid-last year.

He owns a football academy called Kitoko Soccer School.

Katsande has also held a technical team role at South African fourth-division side Crystal Lake FC and previously served in an ambassadorial role at his former South African club, Sekhukhune United FC.
